Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS) wants to move fast and hire 400 temporary and permanent employees for its Sandy call center. The Xerox subsidiary said Wednesday it "needs new employees quickly" to handle customer-service calls and provide technical support for a national retailer and a health care insurance firm.
Applications for call-center and supervisory positions are available at www.acs-inc.com and at ACS’s recruiting office, 501 W. Parkland, in Sandy.
Company spokesman Charles Alexander said ACS also is filling positions at a call center in northwest Salt Lake City that services an unspecified wireless provider. For those jobs, applications are available at the same website or at the ACS office at 1911 N. 2200 West. Salt Lake Tribune
