When it opens in March 2012, City Creek will be home to Utah's second Cheesecake Factory and the state's first Texas de Brazil Brazilian steakhouse. Three other restaurants are expected to sign leases in the coming months. City Creek Center already houses nearly a dozen eateries in its food court.
When it opens next spring, City Creek is expected to employ approximately 2,000 people through its retail, office and commercial tenants, Barth said.
