Utah hotels, motels see higher room revenues, occupancy rates

The Rocky Mountain Lodging Report for January had good news for Utah motel and hotel operators. Occupancy, daily rates and revenue were up throughout the state.

In Salt Lake City the occupancy rate went from 62.6 percent in 2011 to 64.4 percent this past January. Room rates increased from $96.75 to $102.71, while revenue increased from $60.52 per room to $66.14. Salt Lake Tribune
