Construction begins on new Butler Middle School

Construction of the new Butler Middle School in Cottonwood Heights is under way. The new school is being built directly behind the current school at 7530 S. 2700 East. A groundbreaking ceremony was held Sept. 8. It is expected to be open for the 2013-14 school year. One of the most welcome features of the new school will be air conditioning. The current school doesn’t have it. Deseret News
