Canyons Hotel project in Holladay clears hurdle

Kevin Ludlow of Sandy-based Sequoia Development Inc. cleared the first hurdle in building a new upscale hotel, two adjacent restaurants and a ski sales/reapir shop this week. Planning commissioners unanimously approved the conceptual plan for his four-acre parcel at the southeast corner of 3000 East and 6200 South. Ludlow said he hopes to break ground this year and have the hotel and adjacent amenities ready for business by spring of 2012. Salt Lake Tribune
