Downtown Salt Lake City will be filled today through Saturday with an estimated 6,000 participants in Usana Health Science’s 18th annual international convention. Expected to contribute $6 million to Salt Lake County’s economy, the convention will feature keynote speeches by company founder Myron Wentz, author Linda Armstrong Kelly and Olympic gold medal-winning basketball player Jennifer Azzi, who also played for the Utah Starzz in the WNBA. The convention also will feature a 5K walk/run to raise money for a Usana-supported charity, the Children’s Hunger Fund. Usana has raised more than $100,000 for the organization, the company said.
