Two companies moving to West Valley City

Backed by incentive money, municipal officials have persuaded Advanced H2O and Intermountain Bobcat to settle in Utah’s second largest city. In addition, a third business already located in West Valley City is staying put and using incentive funds to expand.
Initially, Advanced H20 will employ 50 people and operate 12 hours a day, according to Nord. Eventually, the business will have 100 workers and operate around the clock, he said.

Intermountain Bobcat — which sells and repairs mini-excavators, skid-steers and other heavy equipment — says it will purchase eight acres and build an 18,000-square-foot facility at 3451 W. 2100 South. The company will relocate its Murray operation and 50 staffers to 4100 S. 500 West. It will receive $65,000 in incentive money under its deal. Salt Lake Tribune
